You have a pretty good list.

Gerber onesies tend to run very small. They fit my girls really well, but not in the same size they wear in everything else.

You may want an exersaucer and/or jumper. We have both and the girls love them. We bought the exersaucer used on craigslist.

I may have missed it, but I don't think I saw pacifiers or bottles. You may need one or both of those. If you are breastfeeding and plan to use bottles, you may not want to stock up too much as some kids are picky about what bottles they'll use. If you're getting pacifiers, you'll probably also want clips so they aren't always on the floor.

We have an aquarium toy thing for the cribs and a mobile that the girls love. I think crib safe toys like that are great when they start paying attention to colors and what's going on around them. A mirror to use behind the car seat in your car so you can see him is really nice too. Those are nice to have an not essentials.

My comment was on the bottles, if you were going to register for them....I have been told it is a wise idea to register for a couple different types/brands because you never know which one your child is going to like.

I have a couple already but i'm sure he'll lose them all the time and if its something he likes i'm sure we'll go through a ton of them! I do need to look into toys some more, i dont think i have any on there

Thanks! Keep the comments comin

I hope you don't mind me dropping in. Have you thought about the Angel Care monitor? I'm not sure if you're planning on co-sleeping or not. Also the Boppy and Bumbo seat (even though it is a little early and my friends love it). What DH and I have found that he loves are the pacifier that is a temperature reader and a medicine dispenser and when I was helping to raise my nephew he was always sick (we had to use Johnson's Bedtime Bath as well as the Johnson's Mental bubble bath) and we had to use a booger sucker, and he HATED it, so we did invest in a vacuum one (looks and sounds a little spooky but it cut down on the blood curdling scream sessions a lot!)

Here are things I noticed you might need. I don't know how many people are coming to your shower, but I had a lot so I needed a lot of things on mine.

More burp cloths- you will go through TONS if your baby is a spitter

Baby hangers

Closet dividers- LOVE these Green Peek-A-Boo Closet Dividers - SugarBooger - Babies "R" Us

Bibs- the kind that have a waterproof layer inside

Seat saver for your car- Prince Lionheart 2-Stage Seat Saver - Tan - Prince Lionheart - Babies "R" Us

Car seat cover- NOT one that goes under the baby (not safe in crashes), but just over the top Summer Infant Faux Shearling Posh Pouch Infant Seat Cover - Periwinkle - Summer Infant - Babies "R" Us

Shopping cart cover

Waterproof pads for under your sheets in the crib and Pack N Play

Jumperoo or exersaucer

Tub

Sit and store seat- I sit on this while I lean over the big tub (with his little one inside) The First Years Sit 'n Store Tub Side Seat - Learning Curve - Babies "R" Us

Humidifier

Just a side note... we just got the high chair you registered for. We love it!

Here is my online registry if you want to look at it also. I chose this place because they offer some unique items that are not offered in other stores like Target or BRU. I won't be doing my target one until we find out the gender.

One Step Ahead Baby - Gift Registry

I don't know if you are planning on using cloth or disposable diapers, but we are going to do a diaper raffle....basically each person that brings a bag of diapers will be entered into a raffle to win fabulous prizes (gift cards, etc.)

I'm so jealous you already have a shower date! I have no idea when mine will be. Maybe i'll start a registry anyway.

I think the other ladies have given you great advice, but here is my

I agree with Valerie about the Gerber onesies running small. Paige wears 6 months clothes, but can wear both the 6-9 month and 12 month white onesies from Gerber. You may want to get several of the plain white onesies...we layer them a lot.

I would highly suggest an exersaucer! They will be a life saver for you once your LO is able to hold their head a bit. And craigslist or ebay are GREAT ways to find cheap good buys.

As for the pacifers, you may want a few different kinds of them too. We tried and tried the soothie ones that they gave us in the hospital and she would never take them, then we switched to a different kind and she took it right away. So that's just a thought.

I definitely think a toy in the crib (that's safe of course) is a great option!!! We used the mobile a TON when she was really fussy and she would watch it and go right to sleep. I know there are even toys with remote controls for the parents so you can keep it going or turn it off without having to go in there. I think that's the best invention ever!!

I could have missed it, but if you are breastfeeding you will definitely need a bobby or some type of pillow to help you. Plus now that she's older we sit her in that to help with sitting up.

And the Bumbo seat in my opinoin, is a MUST!!

I saw you registered for cloth diapers, I wasn't sure if you were planning on using them as cloth diapers or for burp clothes, but they are wonderful for burp clothes. And hopefully your LO won't spit up as much as Paige, but if they do you will need a TON of these. They work great for that.

As for the car seat cover, I can't remember when you are due, but you may not need it if you are having your baby in the summer. Just a thought.

I may have missed it, but do you have a tub on there? If not you will definitely need one!! And someone bought us a thing that you can kneel on so save your knees and it has really helped a ton! Just another though.

Anyway, hope this helped some.

Thank you for all the tips!

I dont want to sound like im arguing or not taking anyone's advice but i'm just going to comment so that i can keep all my thoughts straight and i dont miss anything when i go to edit the registry later

- The cloth diapers are to use as burp cloths and i also have a few actual burp cloths already so i omitted those

- we have a car seat cover already as well as a boppy and some closet dividers

- i thought i did have a bumbo on there - guess it got taken off for some reason, thanks for pointing that out! I'll go through toys and exersaucers again

- Dh and i decided against a baby tub and diaper genie but i do need to put something for sink bathing support on there.

and just to recap from my other post (again just so i can keep it all straight) i need to add
- toys
- more bottles
- paci's

Thanks again!

OH I can't believe I forgot to add these thing....I have found that socks are a big pain in the butt!! Another friend suggested these socks http://http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3721909 and they never fall off! Love them!

And have you thought about swaddling or using the Miracle Blanket? http://http://www.toysrus.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=miracle%20blanket&origkw=mir acle%20blanket&f=Taxonomy/TRUS/2255957&sr=1 it's totally up to you and DH, but I swear by the Miracle Blanket. Paige was colicky and a bear at night and this was the only thing that settled her down. And the Miracle Blanket was the only thing that she couldn't weasle her way out of!! Just a thought.

To be honest Sam, I don't think i will use 1/2 the items that I am registering (planning to register) for....but DH's family makes a big deal about registries and gifts. At my wedding, they bought out my registry and I ended up having to reregister for more items, so I'm learning to put a butt load of items on the registry and maybe I'll use them or I will regift or keep for future children. Some items I would never buy myself, but if someone else wants to spend money and get it for me, I won't argue!

I have a whole closet full of unused wedding gifts. It's like my own little store that I shop from.

Lee Ann I love that nursery sanitizer! I haven't seen that! A lot easier than using the bleach and water method I used with my nephew and waiting for them to dry

And Sam, since you were on the subject of the tub, have you seen the Tummy Tub? I thought it was neat, different and pricey but really neat
