I will find out on Tuesday when my gender scan appointment will be with my doctor, it sounded like it would be at least another two weeks. There is a place called Fetal Studio in the mall that has a coupon on their website for $59 for gender determination, and we are just so excited to find out, my husband said I should make an appointment on Saturday! I am so glad because I am off track until the 25th and I didn't want to wish away my vacation for a doctor appointment. I have a pretty good dea of what to look for myself, but does anyone have experience with one of these not being at the doctor? Were they right? I assume the doctor will still do their own, which will make sure, but It just feels so weird to not go to a doctor's office!

How exciting! Can't wait to hear the verdict! We had a 3-D u/s done at about 25 weeks (not the doctors office) and found out the gender then. They were correct and there was really no mistaking it! KUP!

I waited until my dr appt to find out. Just be prepared that they might not be able to tell this early. My dr wouldn't do it until at least 18 weeks. Good luck though! I know it's hard to wait because it's so exciting!

I went to one of those places and they couldn't tell the gender. So just be prepared just in case because I was sooooo disappointed. Other than that I hear they are pretty accurate.

That's good to know - I would much rather they tell me they don't know than tell me wrong, so that is encouraging at least I don't know how good this place is, I just saw it walking by, so I will hopefully have an idea, but maybe not be sure for a few more weeks
