I'm excited to say that I'm making progress!!  My cervix is very soft, I'm 3cm dialated and 50% effaced!!! My Dr. stripped my membranes today (VERY OUCH), and we're hoping I will go into labor VERY soon!!! Due to my fluctuating BP, we did go ahead and set an induction date for January 13th (41 weeks) just in case, but I'm really hoping to go on my own before that. I also lost 6lbs of water since I was there last, and my swelling has gone down a lot! I'm REALLY trying to watch my sodium intake, and drink TONS of water!!! I'm so excited!!!!!

WOO HOO!! that's awesome progress! Try to do some home stuff to help if you can...now that your swelling has gone done some, walk walk walk! that'll get you going you are SO close! I was 3cm at 37 weeks and 4cm at 38 weeks (the day I delivered).
btw, starting an induction when you are atleast 3cm is very variable for a successful vaginal birth! I only had a small amount of pitocin to get me started and I finished contracting on my own (meaning if I wanted a med-free birth I could have done so, but I'm a chicken haha)..I'm crossing my fingers for you!!!

I'm glad things are moving along for you girl!! It won't be long now no matter what! That is so exciting! 3 cm and 50 % that is great progress on your own so you can do it think now all you have left is 7 cm maybe even less by now! Come on baby!!
