Tonight I had a very brief visit to L & D. Late Tuesday night, I had a tiny bit of pink spotting. Of course, it scared the ^%)* outta me and I didn't sleep like all night! Yesterday, I had a bit of brownish - and still my normal pregnancy CM. Still was scared!! I was aware of every little twitch and ache! Of course, I start checking my DDC & Dr. Google and freak myself out more. I thought that I may be leaking amniotic fluid or something!

This morning, I had some more brown on my liner! My BFF (who has 4 daughters) suggested that I go to my hospital to L & D just so they could check my cervix, do a swab and or ultrasound to make sure all is well. Just her suggesting it made me feel better.

So - I told DH and after work we went to L & D. First off, we love our hospital and the L & D! They were so nice and explained everything! We were in and out of there in 40 mins!!! They checked our LO's HB and he was nice and strong at 145! The doc checked and said my cervix is nice and closed and that she didn't see anything other than normal pregancy discharge (I hate that word!) They gave me the card with the direct number there and sent us home.

HUGE relief! I almost feel silly for going - but still think it was the best thing. I'll be able to sleep quite well tonight with my mind at ease.

Always best to go when you are concerned - so glad that it was in and out, and that everything checked out well

Elissa - if you were concerned at all it is a good thing you went. Stress is not good for you or the baby!

I went to L&D the same gestational week you did for the same reason. I felt so much better about it too! It is always better to ease your mind than to not go and worry for days on end. Glad everything went well
