So my first wacko preggo dream was dipping everything in pee and seeing two lines on it, the morning I got my BFP. The second was DH disappearing in an explosion, not being able to find him, and waking up crying... The third - even weirder!!!
In this dream, I'm on an island in some kind of storm, like a hurricane or something, at night. All of my family is on the island (but no DH again???) Anyway I was doing some kind of emergency work or something to fix something on the island, and I had to escape on this helicopter. I get into the helicopter, it zooms up - straight up - into the air, and when I can see the whole island and the violent sea around it, I fall out.
I free fall, face up, down past the surface of the island into some kind of a canyon or something, while my family looks down at me smiling - my mom, my dad, my brother and sister, uncles, grandparents - everyone. I hit the bottom of the canyon, and die. I see myself laying there dead. And suddenly, I'm back on the island again, getting into the helicopter, trying it again.
I died 6 times in that dream before I woke up, and I fell slightly different each time - but I was happy and relaxed when I was falling.
I think this dream was symbolic of leaving my family behind... Not in a bad way, but growing up beyond my parents, brother, sister, aunts and uncles, etc. and starting this family with DH - this is my family now, that was my old life. That's why they are smiling at me when I fall into the canyon and die. Its symbolic of how this baby is changing my family unit from very extended, to just a unit of 3 - and maybe a bit about my fear of not being able to do this without DH...
What do you think? How many of you have had strange pregnancy dreams??? I love hearing about them

I've had extremely crazy, vivid dreams this entire pregnancy. I've heard it's quite common. Hopefully you will have some good ones too!!

cheryl i think birth and death are normally reversed in dreams, which means if you dream about death it means there is new life to come, and if you dream about birth/pregnancy, someone will die. Someone told me that anyway...i doubt its really "true".
FWIW i had 3 VERY vivid straight up WEIRD dreams before i got my bfp in July...i should have known!

I still have the occasional weird dream...
Ok...here is the weirdest I ever had...
So my ex, his GF and their son moved down the street from us...(only we lived in the same house, but it was a different number, and was clearly in a richer part of the city as my ex moved into a house with a pool) His GF has a daughter as well, but I'm not sure where she was...anyway...so we went over there to play in the pool...(I was still pregers...there son was just a baby (I think he's over a year old now...not sure exactly, as he is an ex) anyway, they leave the baby on our freezer at hour house...(in his car seat) I go home to check on him, because ex and GF don't seem at all worried about him, and he is now on the ground with the car seat over top of him...he is fine...but because I am prego, I get curious and decide to bf their baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I woke up!! ***????
That was the weirdest dream that I had...that was about a month ago...so unfortuantely Cheryl...the weird vivid dreams do not stop.

I had a very weird dream last night. DH and I were apparently in a car accident so we went to a husband-wife lawyer team to sue someone. The lawyers were also chiropractors, so they decided to align our spines. They led us back into their chiropractor practice, except it was just their house, and it was really dirty. They also had a lot of cats. Instead of putting us on a table, we had to lay on the floor. I could feel the carpet in my cheek and thought "This is NOT comfortable."
Also at this point, I realized the carpet was embedded with cat hair, and got concerned because I knew DH is really allergic to cats. I couldn't see him but could hear his spine cracking as the guy worked on him. The woman started to work on me, so I told her I was pregnant, and asked if it mattered. She said "OF COURSE IT MATTERS!" like I am crazy, but then proceeds to practically break my spine. She leaves the room, and at this point I find a card on the ground that has some JM psychic predictions on it. Cheryl, the card was your prediction and it said "You will conceive when you change offices." I thought this was weird, but only because I knew in my dream that you were already pregnant and didn't remember you changing offices.
It was very weird. At the end the couple gave me some Avon samples and a plastic barbecue set.

Paula (pthree) that IS a weird dream! Strangely enough, and you might think this is really creepy, DH and I decided two days ago to change my office to another room.
We're going to swap the office and the bedroom, because the room my office is in is closer to the nursery, and that will mean the office is going into the basement rec-room (where our bedroom currently is) because it has a little off-shoot room that can be used as a playroom when baby gets a little older.
So while I am already pregnant, that whole "changing offices" thing is REALLY creepy because you didn't even know! LOL
And Paula (cutlassdiva) I hope you can remember some, too! Its really fun to read about other people's dreams, and see the way our minds interpret pregnancy and our hopes and fears

Ok, Cheryl, the fact that you really did recently change offices really is creepy! All of our unborn babies must be hanging out together somewhere and talking about us

Your pee dream is funny to me because last night I dreamed my dogs were peeing on each other, and I was all mad at them when I woke up because I thought they would smell like pee!
