Meet Camden!!! PICS And The Birth Story!

My induction was set for 5:30am on 1/13. By the time we got all set up and registered it was about 7:30am and they started pitocin. I was already dialated 3cm at that time. I was having some nice regular contractions, but was feeling very little pain. They continued to up my pitocin until about 12:00pm and then decided to break my water. IMMEDIETELY after breaking my water my actual labor started. It became INCREDIBLY painful and contractions were very intense. I labored naturally until 4:00pm, and then it became completely unbearable, and I was only dialated to 5 cm. My wonderful husband was an amazing coach, and I couldn't have made it that far without him. I decided to either have an epidural, or pass out from the pain. The epidural was the greatest thing ever. I never even felt it being put in, and it made the rest of my labor SO much better. I dialted quickly from then on and was ready to push at 8:30pm, and Camden was born at 9:23pm. I only had a 1 degree tear, and the doctors were WONDERFUL at helping me stretch naturally. He weighed 8lbs 1oz and is absolutely perfect. He was placed right on my chest and grabbed my finger and opened his eyes right away. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful son. He's nursing like a pro and my milk came in today!! Camden is such a handsome little man! I had to show DH that picture of him looking mad, and DH thought it was adorable too. Camden looks just like his daddy in that sleeping picture!!

The picture of him sleeping with your DH is precious! Thanks for sharing your story, I'm glad you had a relatively easy labor and Camden is a beautiful newborn.

yay!!!!! soo happy for you!! he is so adorable, congradulations..thjis actusually makes me look forward more to my due date.. (im gettin nervous about labour!)
