So my BFF is down from Edmonton now, and she was here on Saturday night and hadn't felt the baby move since 5AM - this was at 11. Called maternity, they said come in, so we took her over - and I got a tour of the maternity ward from the nurse!

I've decided I want to go look at the hospital in Abbotsford. LOL

I had a panic attack while I was getting the tour, actually almost had two - when I saw all the tubes and machines on the walls in the room they took Britt in to monitor her I nearly hyperventilated. Then I had this dream (yeah another dream...)

I was in labour, DH was there. I was in this bed and it was bright and pretty in the room, everything was going well... I knew it hurt, but I could deal with it, it was ok. Then all of a sudden this nurse came in with a needle. I said I don't want any drugs, I'm OK I don't need them - and then magically I'm strapped into the bed all of a sudden, struggling to get away from this nurse with an evil face laughing at me with this giant needle, and DH is trying to fight of all of these other nurses and doctors that appeared with more needles and more drugs... The nurse gave me the shot and it HURT and I passed out from whatever they gave me, and woke up 2 days later in this ward of like 30 other women with someone else's baby beside me and my baby nowhere to be found.

Woke up crying and sweating. Again.

So yeah, I think I want to go look at the Abbotsford Hospital LOL

Oh no! I am sorry about your panic attack and nightmare. Your dream sounds terrible!

Have you been to the hospital in Abbotsford? If not, when are you planning on taking a tour?

I haven't called them yet, I'm not sure about the procedure of going to a hospital in another area - waiting until I talk to my doc to find out more.

Oh, and if he's a d!ck about it (which he very well could be) I'm on the "list" with my moms doc to switch to him, so yay

That nightmare was scary though... Woke up laying in bed just like in the dream and almost jumped up to look beside me for the baby that wasn't mine, thinking maybe mine was there - nope, just a sleeping DH, I was at home. Cried. UGH!

I'm sorry you're having such horrid dreams!! Were you a vivid dreamer before being pregnant?? I am big time.. My dreams are often like movies.. or even more real... So I'm a tad concerned that "pregnancy dreams" will be bad for me too..

That's nice that you got a tour, but sorry about the panic attack and bad dreams! I have a hospital tour tomorrow!

Marci - it was my friend who is feeling baby already, all I have felt is gas LOL

GL in your hospital tour Krista, I'm sure yours will go better than mine - it probably didn't help that mine was at like midnight, so it was all dark n scary LOL
