Haylea has been sooo attatched to me lately. She is ok when I am gone but if I am home and she is the slightest but tired or hungry she screams for me! As soon as someone hands her off to me she immediately stops crying and gives the other person (DH included) a look like "ha ha now my mommy has me". It really is cute and I LOVE that she needs me but sometimes it would be nice if she let DH rock her to sleep when she wakes up in the middle of the night (at non feeding times) but she just screams until I decide it is rediculous to have DH try and none of us get any sleep (I listen on the monitor so it isn't like I am getting any rest anyway). So I get up and take her and she immediately calms down and goes to sleep.

Is this clingyness a phase??

Ugh, welcome to my life! Siera's been soooo clingy for the past month or so. It doesn't help that DH is NO help whatsoever. When I'm in the shower, she'll sit behind the bathroom door and cry and bang on the door. When I'm getting dressed for class, she's crawling over to me and trying to climb up my legs. It's cute at first but it's really ridiculous at this point.

It's weird though. I dropped her off at my parents the other night to spend the night and my mother said goodbye to me, picked up Siera and took her to the windows to distract her. I left and my mom said she didn't even notice. So now I have DH distracting her whenever I leave the house and she seems to be fine (instead of crying bloody murder whenever she sees me leave the house).
