I just rub a little olive oil on the spot on her head, rub it a bit, then take the brush from the hospital (sponge on one side, brush on the other) or a comb and gently scrub/brush it. This is done right before bathtime and I just wash her head last so it has time to soak in a bit. It's really helped!! I've only done that twice and it's stayed away so far and it's been weeks now.
Good luck!

The olive oil is really recommended, just not the cat

That was my cat. The olive oil works wonders, even without the cat.

I used baby oil and rubbed it in her, combed with a brush and let it soak in for about an hour, then gave her a bath. It will last for a few weeks and then just go away. Has the baby acne started? I absolutely hated that phase.

I all the other girls. Olive oil or baby oil works. I love that brush/sponge thing the hospital sent home w/ us!
Gwen, we skipped the baby acne phase. I was so thankful!

I used a Mustela cream for Siera's hair. I put it in her hair, put a beanie on her head and let her sleep in it (I think.. it was awhile ago so I can't really remember). Combed it out and washed it the next day. Didn't have much of a problem afterwards.

UGH I think the baby acne was just so bad for me!! It didn't hurt her or anything, but for me I just thought it looked so bad!! Thankfully it didn't last too long and haven't seen anything since!! Glad the olive oil is working for ya Jodi! How's the colic been?

The colic is still in full force, but I'm noticing its worse when he is tired (then he fights sleep and screams for a full hour). I just look at his cute pics when he is screaming and it reminds me of the sweet boy that is in the screaming baby

Oh yes, Jodi!! I had to do the same thing. I would watch videos of her when she was happy and that made me feel better!! Yes, Paige would fight sleep like no other. That's why we eventually went to the CIO method, but I realize you can't do that when they are so young. It's so frustrating! Hang in there sweetie...I promise it does get better!!
