So while I was pregnant, "Capri" by Colbie Calliat was the one song sure fire to make me cry whenever I heard it. Now that I've had my baby, two lullibies - 'Goodnight my Angel' and 'Baby Mine' - make me break down, which is too bad because I keep trying to sing them to Reese and can never get to the end! How about you ladies? What are the songs that always bring on the waterworks?

I don't remember the name of it, but it is a country song about a son and his dad...even though we are having a girl...it makes me thing of DH and how he is going to just strive to be the most amazing dad that he can be.

I don't think I have one... But you mentioning Baby Mine reminded me of the last time I saw Dumbo (years ago) and that made me cry really hard.

Capri still makes me cry. My Little Girl by Tim McGraw, It Won't Be Like This For Long by Darius Rucker, you know, I'm sitting her thinking about it and realizing everything still makes me cry. I am still just so amazed and thankful that I have my little girl that every little thing makes me emotional.

This one makes me bawl every time, especially the video (you gotta watch it if you want a good cry) - YouTube - Johnny Reid - Thank You Thank You by Johnny Reid... A lot of his songs make me cry. LOL
This song is what I danced with my Dad to at our wedding. Break out the kleenex! YouTube - Chuck Wicks - Stealing Cinderella LOL - Stealing Cinderella by Chuck Wicks. DH told my dad "this song is for you"
That's all right now... Except I just cried to Shania Twain's From This Moment, only because it was a song that has always described exactly how I feel about DH, but with some of the stuff we're going through it made me sad to listen to it...
ANYway - good music. All country, sorry to those that hate country music LOL
Oh - forgot to mention - Kenny Chesney, There Goes My Life - *SOB* lol

I'm not even pregnant yet, but I HAVE to chime in, since I have a whole PLAYLIST of these songs! My #1 is Baby's First Morning/LaLaLu from Lady and the Tramp. Then: all the songs you guys already mentioned! plus... In My Daughter's Eyes, I Hope You Dance (seen the video? YouTube it!!), American Girl (Carrie Underwood), Return to Pooh Corner, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, The Rainbow Connection (version by Sarah McLachlan), I Would Die for That, Lullaby (by the Dixie Chicks), Too-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ral (That's an Irish Lullaby)- my mom sang that one to me as a baby. Also Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Someday (by Britney Spears),.... yeah, think I wallow much??? lol

The song is so sweet it brings tears to my eyes anyway, but the Dumbo connection is what clinches it for me...the thought of mom chained up and putting her trunk through the bars to cradle her child...gah I'm crying right now!

Hey Marci, is it Little Guy by Gord Bamford? Should see when he does that one live and brings his kids on stage!
I'm not pg yet, but love to know I'm not the only one that gets emotional over songs! There are many times where I've had to pull over after work and yes, most of them are country, but I'm a country girl So I'll just say to pretty much every song mentioned already!
