Just to forewarn you this may be TMI... I was feeling just fine all day yesterday until around dinner time. Then as i'm heating up some chili my stomach starts feeling really sick. It got progressively worse within a matter of minutes and i had diarrhea. Well after that i decided it was better for me to skip the chili and have chicken noodle soup. The rest of the night went on okay until DH and I were in bed later. I suddenly felt this wave of nausea and told him to run and grab some water and saltines (this always help me avoid vomitting in the first trimester when i was always sick). But it was obviously too late and i had to run to the toilet to throw up. My stomach never actually hurt so i really doubt it was a stomach flu.
I guess i just find it odd that i was able to avoid throwing up during the first tri, when i was feeling nauseous constantly but NOW in the 3rd trimester it happens? Seems odd....
Did anyone else have this happen? Should i be concerned?

sounds ike it was something you ate that didn't agree with you. Or the stomach bug. Your body is so weird when pregnant!! Are you feeling better??
I've heard that sometimes the nausea and/or vomiting comes back to some women during their third tri. I really hope that's not the case for you, just that you ate something funky or a small touch of the bug.
Feel better!!!!

It happened to me a few times right around 30 weeks too. My OB said there is an increase in hormones around that time and sometimes it causes this.
Hopefully it goes away fast and isn't too bad for you.

I threw up randomly up until the day before I was incuded at 39 weeks. M/S is not limited to the first tri! It just hits you at weird times for no apparent reason. Hope you feel better!

Hope you feel better soon Krista. My m/s came back in the 3rd trimester in the evening time. It was always really mild, but I would get nauseous almost every night.

Hope you feel better soon. Sometimes I feel sick based on where the baby is lying. Maybe the baby taking up so much more more is a part of it. Hope it was just a fluke!
