I posted this in my journal, but I'm so proud of getting it done that I wanted to post here also...

Yesterday, we finished baby shopping and shopping for the guest bedroom...

Today, we finished getting everything done...
First, we put together the dresser...oh my goodness, the directions were BAD, but we got through and didn't even get mad at each other or anything, and the dresser just looks incredible (it is from JCPenneys and it was really cheap!) - I think that it is my favorite piece of all of the furniture., and everything matches perfectly..I cant get over how nice it looks!! I LOVE it!! Matt also got the fan up in the other room, and we put everything in there, and we put all of Kaiden's stuff in his room also and got it organized...didn't finish until 4pm! But, I think it looks amazing!! Then we headed out for pizza and a cookie - yummy...

ANyway, here are pics:
Crib and bookshelf (and Nitro my dog):


The dresser w/the changing table on top (isn't it gorgeous - the alligator sitting on it is wearing a cloth diaper that I was showing Matt how to put together), all of the toys that we have are above the dresser, the recliner (Nitro likes it a bit too much, you can't see, but it has the little sea creatures blanket on it that is our crib bedding that we got from my friend at school) and the bookshelf (Iit has our diaper cake on it - and it need more books!):


The papasan swing I got from Craigslist and the bouncer (these will go into the living room most likely, they are just in here for now), the cards on the shelf are from my baby shower, the outfit on the top shelf is his coming home outfit, and his clothes are in the closet along with all the extra stuff I have for him:


The other bedroom (this was the one that the roof collapsed in on)...in the last few weeks, the ceiling drywall was demolished and redone, we completely repainted it (walls and ceiling), took out and got new carpet in, replaced the broken fan blade, cleaned everything, got a new bed/sheets/comforter set, put our bookshelves in it - lots and lots of stuff...I don't have a before pic, but it looks so much nicer now!


Yea, so that was my weekend at 38 weeks pregnant

Both rooms look so good Tonya! Must be such a huge relief to have the nursery ready for Kaiden. Can't wait to meet the little guy!

Oh my goodness you are so cute! I dont think i have ever seen your posts before...I was posting on TTC #1 back in March of 08 and got preggo right away. I just looked at your belly pics and journals, and you are adorable! Good luck the next 2 weeks...its funny...the last 2 weeks we are so excited and want it to go by fast, but then after the baby is here we day dream of feeling those kicks again..enjoy!!! His room looks awesome!
