well we started Jayla on veggies tonight. she ate half a jar of stage one before she wouldnt open her mouth anymore. we started off with sweet peas. she didnt seem to mind them.

and also we decided to start breaking her of the binky. i know she is only 5 months old but my dr. told me that is the time to do it. she said up til 5 months they need that sucking, afte that its more of a want. and i really dont want jayla hooked on it. so she hasnt had it since she woke up this morning. she never really needed it during the day, just usually for naps. but she took all her naps today without it with no fuss! so im trying to see how she does going to bed without it. i laid her down about 10 minutes ago. she whined for 5 minutes...then i went in and shhh'sed her and rubbed her cheek and left. she cried a little bit longer. maybe like 3 min..and as of right now she stopped.

ok now on to the good stuff...pictures! (since we got our new camera!!)

we still cant really get her to smile for the camera! she refuses! lol we have to be sneaky..and we can never really get a good shot

What a cutie! She looks like such a big girl in her bumbo. I can't wait for Brevan to be in his more. I tried it for a few minutes today but he's still not ready.

The more I see them, the more I have decided...I need a bumbo!!! They look great, and I know my neice has one, and she loves it...(as does her mom)

she is so cute eating her sweet peas. How cute! I'm glad it seems to be goign well breaking her of her binky!

She is so cute! I'm glad she's doing well. It sounds like you are doing well breaking her of the binkie. I'm not looking forward to having to do that. Connor is addicted to that thing! I hope it goes smoothly tonight when you put her to bed.
