Tee hee! I've been feeling little pokes on and off for a few weeks, which (if you read my journal) you already know.

BUT!

Last night, DH was giving me a back massage (lame attempt at getting rid of a headache, which totally failed BTW... LOL) and I was half on my tummy, half on my side... And baby was having a boxing match with my uterus!

I kept bursting out laughing (poor DH) every time the baby would kick - it was the only reaction I could think of was to giggle uncontrollably

S/he's been doing it all day today, too. Little jab here, poke poke there, kick-draaag over on the right side... It is SO exciting to be feeling somewhat regular movement! And at only 16 weeks, its amazing!!

And for the record, I know it isn't gas because after all the movement last night, if that HAD been a gas bubble - DH would have evacuated the room, I swear. LOL

So YAY! Consistent movement!! And man oh man, did my belly ever pop today... Its HUGE!

So preggo-happy today, except for the round ligament pain... That's getting nasty! Oh well, its worth it!

I know Wendy, isn't it crazy? 4 weeks away from half way done baking

Baby is kicking more tonight! Seemed to kick every time my MIL spoke LOL - I so love being able to go to my next prenatal appointment and tell the doc that I'm feeling consistent movement! Hahahaha and there it goes again, I swear this baby is either going to be a boxer, a soccer player, or a gymnast the way s/he is rolling around in there!

Very cool! I felt my first movements at 16 weeks as well, which my doctor bet me that my baby would be a boy and turns out he is.

I am so glad you are feeling your LO...it definitely makes the days go easier. I wait till you feel him or her more often...like all day...and in the middle of the night...I never get tired of feeling my little girl...(although it is slightly distracting when I am trying to sleep) but I do love it...and makes me know that she is doing ok in there!!

Why does it seem like everyones pregnancy is going fast, while mine seems to be crawling along?? LOL!!!

Isn't it amazing? I was able to feel my LO early too and from there on out his movements just got stronger and stronger Now they feel mostly like rolls though.

Haha Krista it is so amazing - I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling movement early! S/he is going at it again, too, as I'm typing this. Its nuts to be able to feel movement all day!
