I tried looking through all the journals but its so hard to see them all! I'm feeling pretty self conscious about my size at only 16 weeks, I look huge and all the pics I've seen so far everyone looks smaller than me at this stage

Anyone want to post their 16 week pic so I can feel better?

I can share, but I wasn't very big @ 16wks. I'm also 5'10, though. Of course, I don't know how "big" you actually are, so maybe I should... I don't follow journals.

hence my being self conscious... I mean, I wasn't exactly *thin* when I got pregnant, but I was only a size 7-8 - I just feel so huge compared to all the other belly pics I see of 16 weeks. Especially since this is #1, and I'm 5'5" - its not like I'm 5'0" or anything.

I could really use some belly pics of other girls who popped early to make me feel better!

ETA - oh, and I'm still about 9 lbs lighter than I was when I got pregnant, too. Gained about 6 lbs since my lowest weight at about 12 weeks.

That is a cute belly!!! You should not feel self conscious at all. Especially since you have only gained that little of weight!! Girl show off that belly!!

Yes Cheryl, you do definitely look pregnant, but my belly seems to be growing at a rapid pace these days and I'm only 6 weeks, so I'm sure i'll be right there with ya! Embrace it girl...You're Pregnant!!

I haven't been doing belly pics.....but here is around 20 weeks. I'm tall also at 5'09. I wouldn't be too concerned, everybody is different.

Lee Ann - your pic definitely helps - you're around 20 weeks, yes, but you're taller than I am - so it looks like if you had been my height, you would have been around the same belly-wise at 16 weeks Definitely comforting, especially considering how cute you look there!

First off, you look adorable! One of my close friends looked about the same at 16 weeks, and she's the same height as you. I think you're totally "normal." I was smaller, but like I said, I'm taller. Especially since you have lost weight and were a healthy weight to begin with, I would not worry about being too big! And, BTW, a 7/8 is thin! Silly.

I could post mine, but at 16 weeks I still didn't look pg and was in regular jeans. But little girl is making up for it now! I'm growing like a weed now and don't know how I can get much bigger! I think you look great! Everyone is different so definitely don't feel self concious! Just be glad you actually look pregnant! I just looked like I needed to lay off the twinkies! I would have much rather looked pregnant than like I was just getting chunky!

I'm almost 6 feet tall which is the only reason why I didn't pop earlier, but I've completely exploded now...and remember, different people pop at different times...

I remember being exactly how you were Cheryl...just two weeks later... remember...we both are going to work on our stomach muscles after these babies. You look absolutely gorgeous!!!

Aww, all you girls made me feel so much better you always can! Thats why I still come here, I might not know some of you that well but we're all a family!

Thanks so much girls... Seeing more belly pics, and hearing your comments, it has made me feel a lot better... It just sucks to keep hearing "are you sure it isn't twins?" and "when I was 4 months I wasn't even showing!" etc etc when I tell people how far along I am... Its like they're expecting me to say 7 or 8 months

But you girls can always make me feel better... I luv yaz! Thanks so much!

You really do forget how big/small you actually were!

Same goes for babies! I asked a mom last week how early her daughter was (she was SOOOO tiny) she was full term and 7lb 6oz and 20 inches! Summer was smaller than that but I honestly don't remember her being that small! the mom laughed it off I said it was preggo brain LOL

I wasn't showing much at 16 weeks but everyone is different. I think your belly looks great!! I know it's hard but try to ignore other people who say stupid comments
