my GP that is...He said my BP was fine and that it is obvious i have white coat and general anxiety that he wants to treat on an occasional basis to help with stress. That is what he's most concerned about for me. So he has prescribed me a VERY mild muscle relaxer to help with my sleeping and allow me to get better rest/unwind from my stress. He also wants me walking which I intended to do anyway, so all in all things are good. He said my labs came back EXCELLENT so that was good news! All in all I'm in great health! And i don't need to worry about my BP either!

Glad to hear about your good appointment! I too have "white coat" anxiety -- actually pretty bad -- in fact after I delivered my son last month - the nurse said in recovery that everytime she came near my bed -- my blood pressure would go up...and then go back down when she would walk away! She actually left the room for 5 minutes so she could report that my blood pressure was normal and could release me to my room!
