Last night after a hard, long day at work I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I thought I saw a little of what could be my mucuous plug. Well this morning getting ready for work there was no doubt about it. I went to the bathroom and wiped and there was a huge glob (gross, tmi sorry) of goo. I know it is the least reliable sign of labor but I'm just so excited to be making progress. This combined with my contractions and small amount of dilation the other day really give me hope that this LO will arrive early if not right on time For those of you who lost your plug, how much longer until you went into labor?

I lost mine at 21 weeks. Didn't go into labor. It grew back and I lost it again at 41 weeks after my MW stripped my membranes and DS was born 5 days later.

So exciting!! I know you've probably been all over Google LOL but since I don't have any personal experience to help you with, I found this : How long after the mucus plug comes does labor start? | BabyCenter

One woman there had her labour start less than 24 hours after she lost her plug!
