My sister lives here in the city, and my mom lives 3 hours away, so it would be hard for my sister to plan a shower our their from here sort of thing...and the people that would come live out there...I do have mitts...but nail clippers is a good idea Lee Ann, thanks.

Ok...so I just did a count...I have 7 hand me down receiving blankets. Will that be enough for the first few weeks...I also have two hand me down towels...Let me know what you guys think.

Talked to MIL tonight, she will buy change table/dresser before baby is here...crib we may have to wait for...but I'm OK with that...it's not ideal, but if I have the change table/crib, that will be helpful! So just the little stuff...keep the idea's coming girls...without you, I would be totally going crazy!

Instead of nail clippers, I would use a file. That's what we do.

And you'll think I am crazy, but get a battery powered radio that can go around the house with you. When the baby cries and won't be comforted, turn the radio on static, and turn it loud. I swear, that baby will be out like a light!
