I voted Piper Violet Lynn because Violet Lynn sounded familiar, now that I´ve read the violin comments I know why!

Thanks girls! Jami, Violet is in honor of my maternal great grandmother, it was her first name... Kind of like my maternal great grandfather's last name (he was my GG by marriage, not my grandmothers biological father) was Alfred John Evans, and we liked Evan so we included that in our boy's name.

My great grandmother has been gone for over 20 years, but my great grandfather just passed away about 2 years ago and I promised to name my first born son after him to my grandmother. It's a special thing for us

And the Lynn and James in the middle names, funny story lol... When DH and I first met, we were talking about kids names on one of those random conversations, and he mentioned that everyone in his family has their first born daughter share a middle name with her maternal grandmother.

Well, oddly enough, my family does the same thing - that's why my middle name is Roberta, it is also my maternal grandmother's middle name.

But this is when it gets weird... My mom's middle name? Lynn.

His mom's middle name? You guessed it, LYNN! So we just had to LOL

And James is a family name on both sides as well, its my brother's middle name and DH's middle name, along with lots of other family.

Strange how our family names were Lynn and James - both of us... Just one of many eerie similarities we've learned about since we got together! LOL

That's almost exactly why DH and I are planning on using Lynne, Cheryl! It's MY mom's middle name and HIS sister's (who had cervical cancer and a hysterectomy in her early twenties). Both with an 'e' too, kind of weird since that is a more uncommon spelling! So it's the perfect way to honor both of them.

I voted for Piper Lynn Violet...no real reason other than I like the way it sounded.
I love that y'all are using family names...the girl name we have picked out is a family name.
