I was going to be cautious and wait a bit but here I am!! Thanks for the welcome.

I don't know think everyone knows me so I'll introduce myself.

I'm Judy (30) and me and DH (also 30) - well just me since I haven't told him yet - just find out we're expecting our first It still feels weird saying that! Our EDD is Nov. 21

We got married in late October 2009 and were TTC since then, so this was our 5th cycle. I had just gotten off the pill before the wedding so I was suprised but happy to see that I was ovulating right away and my cycles went to normal right away. I think pre-seed helped us out a lot this cycle - it was my first cycle using it and I got my BFP yesterday at 10DPO. It was so light I wasn't sure so I tested again today and backed it up with a digi

I'm sure I'll write more later but I have some work to finish up now! I am so excited to tell DH - he doesn't know yet!!

Thanks ladies - I told him! I'm going to copy and paste it from my journal


I put a bun in the oven before he came home.. and I also had this stuffed doggie sitting on the bed in the room under the covers (I got it for him valentine's day - it has hearts and a pillow in its mouth that says "Ï love you" - and it has a collar!!) I bought a cute card on my way home from work. So I stuck the card between the doggie's front paws and I stuck the digi in its collar and covered up the doggie..

So he comes home and I act normal and tell him dinner's almost ready but the oven's not working.. he was oblivious.. he thought I had a special surprise dish in there for him and kept asking "what's in there, what's in there". He turned the oven on. I told him the light works but it doesn't actually heat up. So he opened it up and saw the bun but didn't say anything. Just "it's heating up, it DOES work". Oblivious...

OK....

So then we go back in the living room and he asks whether I peed on a stick today. I said "yeah but I can't tell if the line is dark enough" (this is funny because I had a very very faint line yesterday that he admitted SEEING but to him I wasn't pregnant because the line was too light - he had asked me yesterday whether I read the directions lol) anyways, to continue...
He wanted to look at my newest test! So we went to the room and I took the doggie out from under the top sheet and he took the digi in his hands... he turned it around a couple times... said "I can't see the lines where are they?" He even took off the cap!!! To look for lines! Poor DH
He finally found the results window and kind of stared at it for a minute and looked at me and said "you're pregnant"? I told him yes and he hugged me and kissed me and kissed my tummy I could go on and on but I'll stop there...

geeze, digis were made for men, how did he manage to get so crazy!?! Poor B, I have had to tell him with a digi both times b/c i knew it was the only way he'd get it. This time i had such a light test that i did show it to him and he's like yeah i see it...barely. But ya can't argue with the digi!! That is so funny Judy, sounds like he's excited!!

Congrats and welcome! I had to convince my DH with a digi too! He said the lines one was "inconclusive" because it was so light, but there was no denying the digi!
