omg that's crazy!!! I'm praying that she stays put for awhile longer! what is up with these little girls and trying to come early? Please keep us posted. I hope that you respond better to the oral terb. It can be challenging to deal lwith the side effects.

I'm finally home now with no baby thank goodness!  The terbutaline seemed to do its job, although they did have to up the dose on me. So now I'm home on oral terbutaline and strict bedrest for the next two weeks. The dr says in 2 weeks she'll most likely take me off of it and let me go from there, but for now we're trying to keep her put for 2 more weeks. Gosh I'm going to be so bored! And it doesn't help that I still need to get the room organized from the baby shower! Guess I won't be doing any of that! But so far today been doing good. Haven't really had any more contractions, just jittery from the meds. Thanks for all the well wishes girls! I have another dr's appt next monday, so I guess now I'm on weekly appts!  I'll just have to take things one day at a time I suppose!

Bed rest is interesting and challenging. It helps to have things like Netflix, and magazines. ask DH to bring you home a surprise every night. I hope that with good bed rest and meds she will stay put. If you ever want to chit chat during the day I'm always on the computer. We can be bed rest buddies. Over time the side effects of the terb do go away a little.

Eek Candace! That's a scary thought! I thought I'd have 6 more weeks at least to get ready! Going from 6 to possibly 2 is a bit scary!
Amanda I'd love to be bed rest buddies! I feel so bad here I am complaining about my 2 weeks of bedrest and you have way longer to go than me. Poor thing I bet you are crawling out of your skin! My dr said I'd probably get used to the terbutaline just in time for her to take me off of it! These first days are rough though!

Yes it's been two weeks since they started me on it and just in the last few days I've finally started feeling better on it. Please don't feel bad, bed rest is nothing that I would ever wish on anyone. I'm ok with being on bed rest now, I've gotten into a pattern and having my MIL here to help has really made it bearable. I will do anything to make sure that Kennedi stays put till she's healthier and more physically capable of handling the outside world. I'm sure you feel the same way. It will all be worth it when we are holding our little princesses!

DITTO!!! tell her she better STAY PUT for at least another month!!! OR ELSE!!! lol that must suck being on bed rest... but that just means you get to be on here more!!! but I dont know if thats a good thing or not !!!
