Got an update from Casey at 10:15amEST that she was having contractions 2-3 minutes apart and going in to the hospital. At the hospital, they checked her and she was already at 4cm!! Now (at 12:15pmEST), she is at 7cm!! Baby stressed mommy out a bit, they thought s/he might be breech, but it was actually a hand down there and they were able to get it out of the way, so everything is good to go!!
**UPDATE - 7:00pmEST - direct text** - Doc broke waters at 4. 20 minutes later 8cm. Contractions very strong and baby only likes the side that is unbearable for me to lay on. Baby wont progress
**UPDATE - 8pmEST - direct text** - past -2 station. Can't take any more pain and epidural placed at 7. Have been laboring and awake for over 36 hours. Feels so much better after epi.
**UPDATE - Midnight EST - direct text** - Its a girl! Marina Kinsley was born at 10:51pm. Weighing 7lbs 8.6oz. and length is 19.5inches. She's absolutely beautiful and has a ton of hair and the biggest feet! We are so in love, its just amazing!
