The bottles would look really cute filled with the candies. They did that at my shower with gumballs, and I loved the way it looked.
Have fun putting it all together!

I really like Lauren's idea!
I love your response to dh.....I remember at about 22 weeks, my parents came over and saw I bought a carseat and stroller and my mom goes "you bought baby stuff?" and I had to respond "did I not tell you I'm having a baby?"

well thanks Cheryl!! Most of that stuff I had or I got on sale yesterday!! lol . I wanted to get both boy and girl stuff so that way at least SOME of it will be useful and i can either regift or save for future children! I fell in love with the polka dot hat, mittens and bibs...they're just SO Cute and will work either way. its hard to shop when you don't know what you're having (as you well know). It will be much more fun to shop when i know what i'm having but in the mean time its fun to look. I never thought i'd get so overwhelmed looking at cribs and bedding and pack n play patterns and strollers and carseats and i could go on!!! You know...this is just the tip of the ice berg!

Haha well it is absolutely CRAZY to baby shop, but I totally follow you on the gender specific stuff... It sucks!

Oh yes! I remember the first "OMG I need all this stuff" totally overwhelming feeling in the baby aisle! It was fun to look at prior but then when you realize this is real and you need all this stuff you sort of hit panic mode! But don't worry it passes quickly! Once you find out the gender you can really narrow things down.

Carla: When I was pregnant before my (soon to be ex- ) DH knew, I went to Babies R Us to just look around and then I thought "Oh my God. I need everything in this store" that first moment is so overwhelming!
