I am having this weird pressure type pain (not really pain but just tender) on my left(ish) side, not totally left but in between center and left, low, just about 3 in inside my hip bone. (is that an accurate description or what?
Anyway I really only notice it when i'm laying down or have to go pee or have gas. Initially i thought it WAS gas. I had it for a day or so before my first u/s and things were fine. Now i've noticed it for a couple of days?? Any clue what it is?! I mean obviously my baby is in the right place...idk what to think.
I have to call my nurse tomorrow and let her know the date for my NT scan so maybe i should just ask her about it? I mean i'd have to leave her a message and have her call me back..

Kate...I am sure this is not going to help, but I am sure it's all fine. I had so many worries and concerns in the first trimester, every little prick or pain or tingle made me go to the washroom and wipe, just to check...
Try to have comfort in the fact your little pumpkin (I hope you don't mind me calling him/her that)

I had so many days like that...weird pains and tingles and pressure and stretching, and I didn't know if any of it was normal or not. I bet everything is just fine, and it's your body adjusting to this new world of pregnancy. though...I know it is really hard not to worry.

Could be a corpus luteum cyst. Does it feel like it's near your ovary? I had a similar pain in the 1st trimester, and had a good size corpus luteum. In fact, they told me I definetely got pregnant on that side too. (left side) I would ask your Dr. Just to be sure!

Could be round ligament pain too. Everything is changing/growing/stretching so there's bound to be some aches and pains along the way! I'm sure its nothing but definitely ask the nurse about it! Almost in the second trimester girl! I'm sure you'll feel a tad better then!

Kate, when my corpus luteal cyst was disappearing (right around the same time) I was having the same type of pain - in the same place. I had an u/s a few days later, and the pain was going away and the cyst was gone. I wouldn't worry too much, lots of things are rearranging themselves for baby!

I am sure everything is fine too. Your body will do some weird things. At this point, you wish you weren't so in-tuned with your body. Just relax and wait to hear from the nurse. I always told myself if I was not cramping and heavily bleeding, then I needed to relax.

something people told me to was remember that this pregnancy is totally different than the last. Things haven't been the same at all as the last. Which is definitelly good.

I would agree with the others when they said it's probably either a corpus luteum cyst or round ligament pain. I had simliar aches and pains and they eventually went away

I say ask the nurse, it will more than likely make you feel better. I am betting she will tell you it is normal and explain why etc.
I had horrible pelvic pain in my 1st troi. I mean I was crying, couldn't stand or sit it was like the worst pressure EVER! I knew it could not be normal, and the dr. assured me it was and he even checked me a few times, and nothing was going on etc. It was just round ligament pain and things stretching etc. It was nuts!!!
Hope it goes away soon, and you get a good explanation from the nurse!

I had a pain like that last week. My OB said it was normal, and it went away, for now. :-)
Hope you feel better!

I had a lot of different kinds of pain in the first trimester. It would worry me at times but it's completely normal!
