The Easter basket photos!!
My parents were first on Saturday. I had told my sister we were bringing her a surprise. Let's back this up a little and mention that she had a dream I was pregnant not long after I found out. So anyway she thought it was a gift for her birthday or Easter or somethign...so we sit down at the table after dinner and i put it under a blanket. She opens it and says: Oh I'm having a baby. And then as she opened it my dad got this grin on his face. My mom and sister were both still a little confused. Then I told her to look at the card...that's when my mom got so excited! It was fun and they were thrilled.
So then Sunday we told B's family. We got to their house and got ready for my niece to go hunt eggs. While everyone was outside he brought our Easter basket inside and put it on the mantle. So after our niece was done we went in the house. She opened her eggs and no one mentioned the basket. So I said, Delaney why don't you go see what's in that Easter basket. She goes to it and goes, there's baby bottles in there. LOL...i said, oh maybe you should give that to Grampy. So she took it to B's dad and I said, maybe Nana needs to come in here too...so his dad started opening it and his step mom came in and got this huge smile on her face. They were thrilled and it was hilarious! Still no idea how his step sister feels but she acted happy so I hope she really is. So that's that...now we just have to tell his Mom and family next weekend and the family will all know. I have told several people at work now too...i figure its gonna get out eventually may as well just start telling. So lets hope things continue to go well.
