Ok I am miserable. I have been eating high fiber foods and all it seems to do is make me gasy. I bought Activia and have had that each morning. It has been 4 days and I am just miserable. Is there anything that worked for any of you?? I am gonna call my OB in the morning if I have not had a BM. I know that things have slowed down but good grief.....

lucky for me I haven't really had this problem but from what i hear prune juice works well...
lots of roughage in your diet should help, and drink TONS of water (I'm sure you are already). IDK?! Good luck heather, my friend and my SIL both had this problem! (and they had girls just FYI...not that that means much, but hey?! )

I asked my Midwife last time I was there what I should do and she said to try Fiber chewables and I got the Fiber Choice ones and take 2 of those in the morning and they helped A LOT! But she said if they didn't that she put in a prescription for Colace but I haven't gone to get it.

I could eat a ton of fiber and drink tons of water... but nothing really worked for me either... I ended up taking stool softners 2-3 times a day. Don't take a laxative without first talking to your DR.... stool softners are not laxatives. GL

From being on WW, what helps with easing things out...try adding 2 tsp of canola/sunflower/olive oil to your diet. I know when I would stop taking it for a week, I would become irregular and once I started back on it it would be a little loose, but I would regulate quickly.

Unfortunately for me the only thing that worked was to have a baby! Lol! But definitely try more water and fiber. I'd check with your Dr, too. So sorry you're going through that. It's terrible!

I might try this one Candance. It is one that has not been done yet. So what do I do, just cook my food in it or mix it into my food?? I guess I could mix it in my mashed potatoes. I think the big problem is that what I am eating is not very good for me but it is the only thing I want to eat. My appetite is non existant. I will hit 12 weeks on Monday I hope to magically wake up and the morning sickness be a thing of the past I am not going to hold my breath on that one though I will let you know how the olive oil works out fingers are crossed!!!
