12 week appointment x-posted Updated with 12 week belly picture

After a ridiculously long wait (6.5 hours) we finally got into the doctor tonight for our 12 week appointment. First of all, to his credit my doctor delivered 3 babies in the morning and saw an entire days worth of patients after (which explains why I was still there at 11 pm).

So onto Baby L news. Dr. T told me I was not allowed to freak out if he couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler. He was pretty sure he would but JUST in case he told us that he would do an ultrasound (after he saw his last 2 patients) if he could not find it. But it only took a minute for him to find the heart beating away fast and furious (170). Everything is "looking" good and we are now on a regular schedule of monthly appointments rather than 2 weeks ones we have been having.

Great news on baby!!

WOW a 6 hour wait!!!! I can't even imagine...sounds like a good DR who is dedicated to seeing all of his patients before leaving work for the day!

Ladies we did "leave" and come back. He usually has a 2-3 hour wait so I called before my appointment and was told to come in at 7 (instead of 4). So we did just that. And then waited until 10:30 to see him.

He is very dedicated to his patients and delivering their babies. It is hard to wait that long but when my turn comes I know he will drop what he has going on at the clinic and will be there for me too.

Michelle you look fantastic! I still can't believe you got home so late! I said the same thing about him though, when it's my turn, he'll be making sure me and my baby are safe and everyone else will be waiting

I'm so glad you got to hear the heartbeat and can't wait to hear how every one takes the news!

Yay for a heartbeat! Michelle I'm so happy for you. I've heard so many great things about your Dr. the fact that he will see every patient (even late at night) just shows how dedicated he is.
