Thanks guys! Its amazing how big a 6lb 4oz baby can look isnt it? He's gained 4 1/2lbs since birth!
T - Hopefully soon... unfortunately he's still going slow with bottles - he gets 3-4 a day and doesnt always drink them all yet and he can't go up to more until he does. Everyone (preemie parents and the nurses) tell me a magic lightbulb should be going on his head any day now and he'll just suddenly get it. I'm getting very impatient for that to happen! I dont expect him by my due date (4/20) but i'm hoping its not too long after that. He needs to eat every 3 hours successfully then they will wean him back down to every 4 hours the last week before coming home and then the last couple of days they'll let him feed on demand.

OH my goodness!!! His little cheeks are filling out and he's absolutely adorable. I love the smiling one too! I'm so glad that he's doing better and will hopefully be home very soon. Thanks for sharing the pics and updates. I often wonder about you guys. How are YOU doing?

I'm doing okay - i'm at the point where the end is so close yet so far away that its very frustrating. I see this basically healthy normal looking baby now besides his feeding tube and i just want to steal him now. The other day he had car seat training where they showed us how to put him in his carseat and make sure he fits okay and i just wanted to grab it and run  But, i know he's not ready yet which makes me a little sad. I guess i have to get used to it though because i'm going to have to wait for him to do alot of things since he will likely be behind in his milestones, kwim? I just need to get used to him going at his own pace and know that he WON"T be there forever no matter how much it seems like he will.

Im glad he is making progress, but I can only imagine how frustrated you are!! I know it's easier said than done, but hang in there girl the end is so much closer now than it was 3 months ago!
