Ask and you shall receive... A lot of girls have been asking (here and on FB) to see nursery pics, but I don't want them on FB because then the family would have no excuse to come visit before baby arrives LOL
So here it is - almost finished!
The bookshelf, which needs more books and fewer stuffies LOL

LOVE IT!!! The mobile cracks me up!!!  I suggest hitting up thrift stores for board books... they've usually got tons for super cheap! Do you have any by you that do half price days? I stock up on those days... I get 6 books for $1!

Did you do the purple wall and flowers before you confirmed you were having a girl?
Looks great though! Love the fish tank....it will be hours of entertaining for baby. I bought a crappy electronic fish tank (it is a kids toy) and although dh doesn't want to admit it....I told him that was probably the best $10 I will ever spend on a toy.

How cute! Our bookshelf has way too many stuffies and too little books as well! The thrift store is a good idea though! I didn't even think of that!

Lee Ann - we did the purple wall (which looks more gray in person, it was left over paint from our master bedroom) before we confirmed the girl, but the flowers were decals that we bought at Canadian Tire the day after the ultrasound 
And Marci, we got those sayings from the store DH's mom works at. It's called "Writing On the Wall" or something like that... She got them for us as a gift. I love them, too
They have "Live, Laugh, Love", "Sweet dreams 'til you wake to sunbeams", "Always kiss me goodnight", and all kinds of cute things for a nursery...

We're actually not doing a bedding set... My midwives recommend you stay away from bumper pads, a family friend is crocheting a baby blanket (plus we already have a couple), and we have sheets... The only thing I might buy is a dust ruffle, but we're skipping the bedding set all together now
