Back in the hospital...update in post 1

So much for those maternity shots. I started bleeding tonight from the placenta previa and they are keeping me in the hospital for the remainder of the pregnancy however long that might be. Kennedi is doing good. The contractions have started back up and the bleeding is starting to slow down. I have never been sooooo scared as I was when I started bleeding it was bad!!! They have given me one shot of steroids and are hoping to get another dose in tomorrow and then if my body will quit bleeding long enough to allow it to work for 48 hours then they will decide the next step. Everyone has been nice and the oncall Dr is sleeping down the hall incase the bleeding starts back again so they can go ahead and do a c-section. Please keep us in your prayers. Pray that she will hold out for a couple more days atleast.

4-14 @ 2 pm The bleeding has decreased dramatically, it's basically only like a lite period now. They have started me back on my terbutaline after having stopped it since I came into the hospital. Well my contractions had gone to every 2-3 minutes. They mentioned magnesium and I begged the Dr that the terbutaline was working so well could we please give that a chance first before we go to the hard core stuff. I'm not really wanting to spend the rest of my pregnancy drugged feeeling. In the middle of writing this the Dr came in. He said that if we can get the bleeding to stop all together he might send me home on Monday. I told him that I'm not sure that I can handle the fear of bleeding like this again. He said that the bleed that we had was more like a second bleed than a first. I told him that I'm fearful that the next will be so bad that we wont have enough time to get to the hospital. We live about 20-25 minutes away. I'm hoping that he will understand my fear and realize that I'm justified. It was a lot of blood. So now I'm going to snuggle up with my pillow and try to sleep I have not slept since yesterday morning. I will keep yall posted. Thank you for the prayers and well wishes.

I'm so sorry Amanda. I hope the bleeding stops and that Kennedi bakes a little longer. You both are in my T&Ps.

Aww im sorry Amanda, I hope the bleeding stops and Kennedi stays put as long as possible. Stay strong. HUGS! Any way you can get your photographer to come to the hospital to take some pics?
