Has anyone had period while pregnant? I had my period 10 days ago, it was dark brown in color and normal flow lasted 5 days. Now i am getting headache, feeling nausea and throwing up. I wanted to know if anyone had period like bleeding and still be pregnant. And yes....i had my 3rd IUI last cycle.

Not me, but why don't you just take a test? You'd obviously be far enough along to get an accurate result.

My sister, who at the time was pregnant with her 6th child, swears she didn't know she was pregnant because she had a regular period every month for 5 months, then it stopped and she realized she might be pg and the dr of course confirmed it. but you hear about cases like all the time on tv shows, so i would say its def. possible!

From the info you gave, it sounds like it's probably very unlikely that you would be pregnant. It's not possible to have an actual period during pregnancy, but it's possible to experience bleeding. Here's some good info. Bleeding During Pregnancy : American Pregnancy Association

Thanks for all the replies. I started my period right when i should 14 day post ovulation. I have heard from one of my friend that she had period like bleeding when she was pregnant that's why I wanted to know if someone else had experience something like that. I did some reading online and they say it's common to have period like bleeding while pregnant but it's not period, it can not be. I will take a test tomorrow morning if I feel the same way today. But now I am pretty sure, I am not pregnant. I have taken tons of HPT in the past all BFN. So now I really don't wanna take tests and feel miserable .
