My cycles are long and irregular so my doctor and I have had a hard time dating my pregnancy, but I thought I was farther along than he is saying. I've had 3 ultrasounds in the last 4 weeks or so. The first one showed only a gestational sac. The second one showed a little bean, and that last one showed a little bit bigger bean, but there is no heartbeat yet, and the doctor was expecting to see one by now based on how far along I thought I was. He thinks maybe I conceived in late March, but this can't be possible because I got my BFP in mid March. Now I'm worried that there is no heartbeat yet How far along was everybody when they first saw a heartbeat?

Mine bean's HB was found at 6 weeks 4 days but only with transvaginal u/s. If you are having abdominal ultrasounds it will likely take longer to find. I hope you get to see it soon!

The earliest my dr. would take me was 7 weeks, and we saw the flicker then.

I went in for my first appt when we thought i was 9 weeks along and no HB, I had to have a dating ultrasound anyway so they did a transvaginal u/s and found them at 8w1d instead.

are far along are you supposed to be? Im having trouble doing the math

With my first pregnancy, it was like 6.2 wks when they found it, with my 2nd pregnancy, the baby never developed a heartbeat, and with this pregnancy, they found it at 6.1 wks

I pray that they find your bean's HB soon!

My first doctor appt was at 9 weeks so that was the first time we saw our baby's HB.

Hopefully you're able to see it soon!

5 weeks 6 days with a transvaginal ultrasound. But, lots of people can't see it that early so I wasn't expecting to see it yet.

Hang in there. The waiting is the hardest part.

I was 6 weeks and a few days. Can't remember exactly how many days. My Dr. wouldn't do one any earlier because she wanted to make sure our chances of seeing something was higher.
