Ladies I maybe headed off to the ER later today. I woke up to some pretty heavy spotting and passed 1 fairly large clot after going to the bathroom for a BM. Then the spotting seemed to get heavier, but after showering(cause I needed one before heading to the ER) the spotting seems to be stopping. Most of the spotting was bright red, and it doesn't help that I had a dream af showed up last night. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers, as I'm not sure what is going on. I'm going to request my 1 ultrasound at my next appt. (which is Monday). I'm not cramping, but my lower back is hurting. Of course that could be just the side-effect of pregnancy, its been bothering me for several days. I had a high stress day yesterday, after a high stress week last week. DH won't be able to come home until almost lunch time, because he has a history test(which apparently is more important than me), so if I go I'll be going alone.

Definitly get it checked out....have you DTD lately? Or anything you can think of to irriate your cervix? That can sometimes cause bleeding/spotting because the cervix is very soft and there is a lot of blood flow down there. KUP!!!

I would definitely get checked out. It could easily be nothing but it will ease your mind to know that.

I would get it checked out for certain...but on a positive note...one day when I was about 8 weeks along -- I was a little constipated and strained a little while having a bm (sorry for the tmi) ... anyway - when I wiped I had bright red blood with a small clot...I immediately started googling bm straining and bleeding and was suprised to see it was quite common. After visiting my doc...we saw everything was fine...You didn't mention if you were straining -- but if you were...this could be a reason. I'd give your doc a call! Sending you lots of sticky dust!

Hey ladies, I am finally home from my busy day. The spotting stopped and I went to teach my lesson at my mom's school. Came home and helped DH move our new mattress set in, and then gushed blood and continued to bleed heavy for the next hour while sitting in the ER waiting room. I got up and went to potty and while pottying I passed a large clot. Then spotting slowed down. I finally got into a room, and they started an IV, and I had to have an in and out cath to get a clean urine sample. I got to have my first u/s tonight and baby looked good, and showed off. Moved the whole time and kicked the wand almost as soon as the tech touched it to my belly. Wound up with a inter-vaginal u/s, because she saw something that concerned her. Final diagnosis is subchrotinc(sp) hemerrhage(sp again). I have to take things easy and rest as much as possible for the next 2-3 days, and no anything for 2 weeks or until I get all clear from doc. I go back for repeat hcg in 2 days. Will post the u/s pics tomorrow. We have been in the ER since 7:30 tonight and didn't get out until almost 2am! DH is currently 30 mins from being awake for 24 hrs, and I'm feeling pretty tired myself. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers, I will keep everyone posted!

Glad the babes is doing well! I had a blood clot in my uterus that they found at 10 weeks but resolved by the end of the 13th week. Hopefully yours will do the same.

I'm glad your baby looked good on the ultrasounds and is moving around alot. Hope the bleeding stops soon. KUP.
