So Friday we had a pedi appointment for a check on Connor's reflux/weight. He was 3 months old on Thursday.
At his 2 month appointment he was 10 lbs, 2oz. and 24 inches long. Well, Friday he was only 10 lbs 14 oz

a whole month later!! He is continuing to drop further off the charts.
He's still spitting up a ton, but not screaming with it like he used to. My pedi was very concerned about the spitting up and needed to check his labs because she was concerned about electrolytes. So, we got sent over to the hospital for tests.
Connor got an IV which was horrible to watch him scream in pain from (and they had to stick him twice). Then he got an ultrasound to check for pyloric stenosis which was negative. Finally his labs came back with elevated liver enzymes so he got more blood drawn and sent for another ultrasound this time for his gallbladder and liver.
The ultrasounds were fine and we finally got to go home. But, they still don't know what is going on to make his liver enzymes elevated. We are getting referred to a pedi GI doc and I have to go back to my pedi tomorrow to discuss what to do from here.
We are going to switch his meds around and start him on rice cereal to help with weight gain/spitting up. And hopefully I will get some more answers tomorrow.
So, 8 hours later and we finally got released, then we drove to go visit my in laws and see the family which we already had planned. So we spent the weekend there. I am exhausted now! But I'm glad the pedi said to go because DH's grandmother hadn't seen Connor yet and this was going to be our first trip up there (about a 4 hour drive)
I am so sad that Connor had to get put through all those tests and I'm sure there's more to come

And on top of all that, I have to go back to work on Wednesday.....
Hopefully this made sense. I'm very tired as we just got home. I'll update tomorrow when I find out more.
Update 4/26: We saw another doc in the practice this morning. Connor lost another ounce since Friday. We are being referred to a pediatric metabolic specialist. He thinks that Connor is getting enough to eat, but for some reason cannot absorb it. He is going to work on finding the specialist (since they're not very common) and then we can get an appointment. I am so upset....I just want my little boy to be okay
