We started on rice cereal after her four month appointment, when the doctor gave us the ok, but we won't start anything else until after 6 months

We've introduced a few since he only gets to nurse around 7, 11:45, and then 4 (since I'm at work). He gets a small amount of solids those times I'm at work and can't nurse him. He just recently started doing better (5 months now). Before he wouldnt always open so wouldnt take too much but now he opens and is enjoying some things!

I had to start her on weight gain cereals at 5 months. Then veggies etc at 6 months.

I think its a personal decision and you need to do what you feel is best, not your neighbour,l sister MIL etc. As soon as you mention solids its like everyone has to give an opinion!

I was going to start at 6 months or later. My kids were ready at 5 months so I felt like I had to follow their lead.

We started Brevan on just cereal at 4 months and heave started him on fruits and veggies this past week.

We started Lilyana very slowly at 6 months. It wasn't until about 8.5 months that she was eating them once a day.

Just follow when your baby is ready and it will work out!
