ARGHH!!!! This is going ot be a little ranty. So I woke up late and then was late, but since my sugar was 115 they wouldn't do the 3 hour sugar test just diagnosed me as gesational diabetic!!! So I was like I'm seeking a second opinion before I do any kind of treatment. Also they had told me at my last appointment that they would call my doctor's office. Did they NO!!!! So I almost lost it on the lady right then, and then to cover butt she was like well I don't think they'll take you without inpatient medicaid. So while I continued to wait for almost 4 hours to just see the doc. I called my doctor's office and have already recieved the call back for an appointment. It's 2 days after my next one at the health department, so I'm cancelling that one. Seriously enough is enough, if they'd had ultrasound I would've been saved a trip to the ER. If they listened to me I wouldn't be so angry and upset right now. I told the nurse I saw when I got there, that I was seeking a second opinion, told the doctor I was seeking a second opinion and then had to tell the discharge nurse that I was seeking a second opinion. OK so rant over I think

I called my doctors office this morning and got processed and accepted as a medicaid patient with my doctor(no suprise there), and have an appointment May 26 at 3pm, so I'm cancelling my appointment with the health department. YAY, I will be able to see about the hemorrhage and see baby and maybe even be able to tell what we are having!!! I'm so ready to start buying stuff!!!

Glad you are getting in to see your doc! It doesnt surprise me that they are skipping the three hour GD test - my number was 120 and they wouldnt have had me do the three hour if i hadnt delivered instead

Well, I think if you are diagnosed with GD then you will eat healthier because of it. I've said so many times I was going to eat better....and you know what I'm having for a snack later....a Big Red soda!!! That's right....ultra healthy
