Well Im 10weeks and 3days and yesterday DH, my Mom and I went in for my first ultra sound....my due date was changed from Dec 4th to Dec 8t, so Im back at 9weeks 6 days I guess and oh yeah we're having faternal twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was just asking the tech does the baby look okay, and shes all yep heres baby A and baby B...DH jaw dropped, I think I stopped breathing and my Mom cheered. Later we walked out with three pictures...
Wow..still in a daze.

Congrats....There is no way to know yet if they are frats or identical. They could be frats that split early. If you find out genders and they are 1 of each, then you know you have frats. If they are the same gender, then you'll need to wait until they are born to know for sure. I know two couples who were told early on that their kids were frats based on there being 2 sacs and 2 placentas, but testing after the birth showed the kids are identical.

Thanks everyone
Had another Doc appointment yesterday and was able to hear both heart beats, which was wonderful. Its sinking in for DH and I, we are just so suprised, we were prepared to see one little one, and were ok with just having one kiddo, and that being it, so now it being two....still I guess a little like no way! really?? are you sure?? But the appoitnment yesterday was pretty great. Next appointment is June 11. Im told there are many ultra sounds in my future.
