So, recently I've been feeling a ton of pressure in my stomach, down into my bottom and my vaginal region. Well this morning I had the pressure and then started having pretty intense lower back cramps and some tightening in my stomach. It wasn't anything regular, but definitely very uncomfortable and at times painful. Also because of all the pressure, I've been experiencing a burning/pulling sensation in my cervix. Anyways I called my doctor and they had me come right in. Doctor did a vaginal exam and said that my cervix is long, hard, and closed. Fisher's heartbeat was also great and he has been moving like normal, so that is great news.
The doctor sent me home telling me to just take it easy and stay off my feet. I've been doing so, but I'm still very uncomfortable. I am also still experiencing the cramping/tightening in my stomach and back and think I am experiencing contractions, although they are very sporadic. Within the last hour, I've became very nauseous and have been vomiting. I'm concerned about going into early labor and I know my body and just feel like things aren't right.
I would really appreciate any thoughts or advice!
TIA ladies

I can't offer much....but I do know I was told "real" contractions will be very regular. I also have been having alot of pressure in my vaginal area...and someone is using my bladder as a pillow although I won't name names. I really think it is just from the position of the baby at that moment....sometimes they hang high and sometimes lower.

If you've already seen your doctor, I would say just to put your feet up and take it easy. I know that doesn't help you though

I started having contractions from about 30 weeks on and I made it to 38 weeks. Could you have a little stomach bug and that's why you are throwing up? that can also cause contractions. I went into preterm labor at 30 weeks because I was fighting a viral infection. Just keep an eye on your contractions. If you aren't confortable with how they are, you should go into L&D and get checked.

i wasn't dilated either but they couldn't get my contractions to stop so I had a terbultiline shot to stop them. Not trying to freak you out, but even if you are having contractions, you can still make it full term

HUGS to you!

I don't have any advice for you. Just wanted to say that I hope Fisher keeps baking a little longer!

Thanks ladies! I am feeling a lot better today than yesterday! I've been trying to relax and keep my feet up and it seems to help! I have only had a few contractions today, nothing regular...so that is good news! I also haven't thrown up anymore! I think the vomiting was a result of my nerves being shot from all the stress and anxiety I was feeling yesterday! I really want him to stay in there for at least another 6-7 weeks and then I'll feel a lot better! I'm ready to meet him, but not quite yet!
