3:05 EST : I got a message from Liss about 30 minutes ago that she is in labor. The contractions started about 6:45, she went to bed at 11, and woke at 12:15 with pain (all times in EST)

She called the midwife, she said she was in early labor, and wants her to have a bath and try to relax. The contractions are now about 3-4 min apart. She is going to try to rest, but will keep me updated on progress!!

Lots of ELV's for Liss!! Baby Nikolas is on his way!!!!

3:30 EST : another message, her water just broke, and she lost her mucas plug. There is Meconium...she is heading to the hospital.

8:42 EST: Liss has been admitted to the L&D ward...she was given some Nubain (never heard of it before) for the pain, and when I talked to her DH she was trying to have a nap since she had been up most of the night. I suggested he try to get some sleep as well, since he also has been up for most the night. (I know easier said than done) She was 4 cm dialated when they gave her the drugs. I haven't heard anything more, but will definitely let you girls know when I do.

Just got a message from Liss's DH, Nikolas was born at 2:52 EST. i didn't ask weight, length ect...I will wait for Liss to update us on that when she is feeling more up to it. (I am sure she is exhausted) I am glad Nikolas is here safe. I have a picture that was sent to my BB, but since I am at work, I'm not sure I can get it to work...I will try, watch for an update on the picture, but Congrats to Liss and her DH on the arrival of Nikolas!!!



Spoke to Liss later on today...Nikolas and mom are doing great. Liss is in some pain, as she has 3rd degree tears, but Nikolas is latching like a champ. He is doing great, and they are so in love!! With Nubain and Nitros she was able to deliver without an Epidural!!

No updates on how it's going yet ladies...I'm hoping that means she is progressing quickly, and Nikolas will be here soon. I will give you an update as soon as I hear something!!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
 IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

come on baby nikolas!!!! ELV!!!! I had nubain when I was in labour, its a god send!!!! It didnt take the whole pain away but it took the edge off it..

cant wait to hear about his arrival!
