Aww you are too sweet!!
I had my 39 week appointment yesterday and he checked me for the first time. I am 1 cm dialated and 70% effaced. He thinks I will see him next Tuesday. I feel great besides the carpal tunnel. I have been more crampy lately and more cervical pains (probably her head, but the doctor said those COULD be contractions). I told my DH that we are going to start walking in the evenings again and I plan to eat eggplant parmesan Sunday for my birthday (a local italian place gives you a free meal on your birthday).
Everything is ready to go, just waiting on her.

I am getting nervous and scared all at the same time...it has suddenly hit me that my little girl is going to be here so very soon, and at one time, I thought it would NEVER happen, so it makes me excited too.
DH and I are going to buy the dresser tonight, and get that set up, we are going to put get the crib after she is here as we have a craddle for her to sleep in for now. I just have to reorganize our room to get it in there...so in a few words...no we aren't ready yet, but fortunately we have the long weekend this weekend, so hopefully we can get more ready...as long as I can get my energy up. I feel the nesting urge...so hopefully that means I will have some energy.

I'm doing good...all we need is a baby! I've been getting checked since 35 weeks on and I've been at 50% effaced and 1cm dialated. We've been walking about 3 miles almost every night and as of my appointment yesterday, I lost 4 lbs in a week. I'm really excited about that cause it's 4 less lbs that I have to lose when I have her! We will be keeping up with that routine until she's here.
Here are few pics of the room:

And a 36w6d belly pic:

Yea, I have that feeling too. I am so scared to lose the 'freedom' I have known for 20+ years, but excited to start our family. Its a weird, surreal feeling.

Thank yall,
Cadence I hope you have a great birthday dinner!!!!! Your last one without a little one!!!
Marci- It's ok we dont have our nursery ready either but I know with time it will get that way.
That nursey looks soo cute!!!
As for us: The amnio was done this morning at 7 am. There are three different tests that they run when they do it. The first one that our hospital does, came back negative around 10 am. They send the other two tests off and they will be back in the morning. The ones that come back tomorrow are more accurate as to the maturity of her lungs. If it comes back good then we have a section tomorrow, if it comes back moderate then we wait a week, if it comes back inmature then we wait two weeks. This is all pending I don't have another bleed. The closer we get to due date the more likely I am to hemorrhage again because of dilation. The amnio wasn't bad but it did cause lots of cramping and tenderness. It didn't' send me into labor which I was thankful for. My contractions are still coming every 8 minutes around the clock. We are doing good with the results. We had prayed last night that if she wasn't ready to come out that God not let her pass the test. So for sure she gets one more day.

Amanda~thanks for the update. We will be anxiously waiting to hear what the final decision will be. Hang in there girly!
Oh I so remember the feeling of losing your "free" time...get used to it ladies. There is absolutly no way anyone could prepare you for how your entire world as you knew it will be completely flipped upside down. To me this was one of the hardest parts. Having a baby that CONSTANTLY and I mean CONSTANTLY depends on you is very very very exhausting...however when he/she first looks at you and smiles, your heart completely melts and makes it all so very worth it!
I'm excited for the next storm of new mothers and new babies to watch grow! I can't believe I'm already even considering #2!!!

I know I don't post much, but I've been following and can't believe all of you are so close. I feel like you were all just announcing your BFPs. Gwen is right that your world is going to be flipped upside down, but it is so amazing.
