We got the final amnio test results back this morning. Her lungs just aren't ready yet. They wanted the L/S ratio to be greater than 2.5 and ours was 2.2. The Dr said that he is going to consult with a maternal fetal specialist and let us know how much longer we are going to have to wait. We are a little sad because we have been soooooo anxious to meet her. BUT we definitely want what is best for her first and foremost. We still need prayers that we don't have another major bleed again before then. The risk of having another one goes up substantially from this point on because of dilation and I'm still contracting atleast every 8 minutes. We are still in the hospital for the remainder!!

I'm sorry they weren't the results that you were hoping for and I hope that you don't have to wait too much longer. I will also pray that the bleeding holds off and the dilation doesn't start progessing. Hopefully you'll get to meet your little girl very very soon!!!!!

Sorry her lungs weren't ready. I know it must be agonizing having to wait in the hospital for her to come and disappointing when there was finally an end in sight. Hugs to you and hang in there for just a little while longer. You are doing so great!

I am sorry her lungs still aren't ready, but I am glad they are taking care of you there, and she is staying put till she is ready as well.  You will be holding your healthy little girl in your arms very very very soon, and it will be amazing!!!

Thank you everyone for all the words of encouragement. I've been sooooo blessed to have friends like yall to help get me through this. I'm staying positive. I'm anxious to hear what the specialist says about how long to wait. Still no word on that yet. Jodi I can't wait for you to be able to update everyone either!!!! My MIL might be calling you on the phone instead of text messaging.
