I don't know in cm or anything, I'm sure my Dr. will tell me tomorrow, but I have for sure lost my mucus plug today. I thought I was losing it this morning, when I was having small globs of cm come out when I wiped. Well DH and I went for a walk this evening, and when I get home, I went to the washroom an there was a loonie size glob of cm on the TP. (for my american friends that may not know, a loonie is our one dollar coin, and is a bit larger than a quarter) I'm sure I have made some progress in the last week...I just am not sure how much, and I really want this little girl to hang on for just one more week. Even though I do want to meet her, I would like for her to be born in June. Of course, I will take her any way I can get her.
How long after you lost your mucus plug did you go into labor??

OOOOH you're getting close Marci!!!! You tend you lose your mucous plug when your cervix begins dialating and thining out! I bet you're between 1-3cm dialated Everyone is different. My best friend lost her plug and went into labor that night, and I lost mine on Jan 9th and still had to be induced on Jan 13th. My prediction is that you will go into labor within the next week. SOOO EXCITED for you!!

Sorry girls, it was a totally crazy day at work after my appointment...
She didn't check me internally, but did say she was dropping. (I actually had a guy at work ask me today if I had dropped) I think the walk DH and I did started stuff going, but they have slowed down again. I am still feeling pressure down there, if I'm walking for a while, but usually, I have to be walking for about 3 minutes for it to start. DH wanted to go for another walk tonight, but I'm not sure if we will go.
I told my work that Friday will be my last day. I definitely think this little girl will be here sooner rather than later.

I lost a small part of my mucous plug around 38 weeks - at the time I thought it was the entire thing but I lost the rest later. I went into labor on a Tuesday night (40 weeks & 4 days, I didn't know it was real labor yet though) and the next morning after I figured out I was in labor for real, I lost the rest of my mucous plug - there was a lot more than I expected.
Good luck!

I find it funny how much it varies.... 2 days down with lost mucus plug...maybe I did only lose "most" of it...we will see I guess...still lots of CM, especially after walks. DH and I didn't go for a walk last night, but we will probably start going again tomorrow. Thanks for all the input ladies, I'll keep you posted.

It's getting SO close Marci!! I'm excited for you I lost parts of my mucus plug off and on for weeks before i went into labor. Unfortunately it's not a very good indication just because everyone is so different and it can even grow back. I will say i did lots of walking and other activity in the days right before i had Camden. Hard to say if it helped bring on labor or if it would've been the same either way but it definitely doesn't hurt to try!
Good luck sweetie!!!

How exciting! Yay for progress! I never lost mine that I noticed until probably labor. Once labor started I felt all sorts of goo down there, but I didn't want to look! LOL! The bloody show and goo started about 4 cm dilated, but before when I was just 3 cm dilated no signs other than contractions. Good luck! I can't wait to meet your little princess!
