Sorry ladies! I've been majorly MIA lately! We changed internet providers so I only had my phone for a bit, which is impossible to reply to posts on! So I've been trying to keep up and read, just couldn't reply! Anyways the internet is back on. I've also been job searching like crazy (which I hate!) I'm going to be going back to work next week but luckily its only 3 days. The time just flew by way too fast! Because I went out on bedrest early my FMLA only covers 12 weeks and that time is up with my current job. I have to keep my current job until I can find a nursing job. Hopefully something will come up soon, but its harder to get in as a new grad with no experience. Changing careers sucks! I feel like I'm 18 again just starting out in the workforce! So any prayers/job dust would be greatly appreciated! I've also been trying to pump enough for her when I'm gone. So far I have 20 4 oz bags frozen and 2 4 oz bags in the fridge. I'd like to get more, but I seriously hate pumping, so I only get in 2 maybe 3 pumping sessions a day. I usually get between 3-8 oz per session, which is okay I guess. Just wish I got more every session. I'd love to build up a bigger supply.

Lexi is doing great! She's getting so big so fast! At her one month appt (which was closer to 5 weeks) she was 9 lbs 11 oz and 23 inches long! She's definitely getting plenty to eat! She's growing great! I was sort of worried because she really only eats on one side maybe 5-10 minutes and then is full, but at the rate she's growing the pedi is very happy. She's starting to stay awake longer during the day so I have to get more creative in ways to entertain her! I started playing games and dancing around the room with her and she loves that. She also loves the itsy bitsy spider! She is smiling alot more now and actually smiles in response to us, though not for long. She's also got great head control and keeps trying to hold it up. She's just getting so big so fast! I will try to get my birth story posted today. I know its long overdue. I have it all typed up, just need to post it! So that's our update for now!

Glad all is going well. I hate pumping too, try pumping in the morning. Your supply is highest at that point and I always get a lot then! I also try to not think about pumping and I seem to get more, if that makes sense. (I'll read a book, grade papers, etc)

I hope your transition back to work goes well, good luck with the job search!

glad you guys are doing well!! getting a job as a new nursing grad is ridiculous! I run a homecare agency and we can't take new RNs until after 1 year experience. Your best bet is to try facilities. I know nursing homes take new grads (around here anyway). I know it'll suck if that's not what you want to do but remember, you are just trying to get the experience under your belt to move on

Best of luck going back to work. It'll suck at first, but then you'll really cherish the time you have with Lexi since you can actually miss her now we want to see some new pics of her too!!!

Lexi is so adorable Carla! Marina has a lot of the same outfits as her, lol! Good luck with the job hunt. I hope you find something you really like.
