His appointment was this morning. He is doing good. He weighs 9 lbs. 8 oz (40th percentile), is 22 1/2 inches long (81%), and his head measures 15 3/8 (69%). He is a very healthy baby boy She prescribed more Zantac for his baby reflex. He's been taking it for a couple weeks and it's been helping him. He didn't get any vaccines this time. Those will start at his next appt.

Sleep has been going okay now. The past couple nights have been really good. We play a white noise CD every night which seems to really help for the most part. On average he wakes up about every 3 hours to eat. The longest he's gone is 5 hours. Boy was that nice! The only problem we're running into is him getting out of his swaddleme. He gets his hands free and then wakes himself up.

He's been holding his head up really well and when he does tummy time he will sometimes move his legs and "crawl".. okay it's more like slide across the floor but he's trying! He's eating really well and is grouchy a lot but the doctor told me that's normal so i'm trying not to worry about it. He smiles but laughs only in his sleep so far. He's more aware of his surroundings and loves to watch his crib mobile. I'm so excited to watch him as he grows up He's already changed so much!

it's all in how tightly you wrap him. I know it took several time to get wrapped just right...then she got to the point when she put her arms down for me are you making sure he's arms are tucked down in the bottom flap before swaddling him? if he gets them up any, he'll definitely get out of it!

Glad he's growing nice and healthy for you!! Reflux sucks Happy the zantac works!

The sleep will get better and better...promise!

Glad he's healthy and getting bigger. I know how tough the reflux is. Just know that most babies will grow out of it. Have you thought about getting a nap nanny? I wish I would have looked into it sooner and would have gotten one because I hear they work wonders for sleep for kids with reflux.

Michael is a PRO at getting out of swaddles so we got a Miracle blanket... its amazing! If he keeps up the escaping you might want to look into it

Sounds great, it just gets better and better as they get more aware!!

Kaiden is the king of tossing and turning, I swaddle him so tight, but he gets out every time and wakes himself up also...he cant sleep without his sleep sheep (noise machine)...sounds like they are really similar

I am so glad he is doing so well! It is crazy how fast they grow!
We took my 3yo nephew to the zoo a couple of days ago and looking at how fast he has grown up made me think about how fast Fisher is going to grow and I can't believe how much they change over such a short period of time!
I'm glad things are going so well and that sleep is getting better!

Yeah for a great visit! I can't believe he's already a month old! It seriously feels like you just gave birth last week! He's so adorable Krista! Hope the reflux goes away soon.

Can't believe he is a month old already! Glad to hear he is doing well. Ditto on the tight swaddle. Eli STILL needs to be swaddled and if it isn't tight, he is out of it in 2 seconds.
