I went to the bathroom an hour ago or so and when i wiped there was tons of blood. It was very dark red, not bright, but not brown either. I called my doctor and am now waiting for my mom to go with me to the hospital to get blood drawn. I'm too much of a baby to go alone.
It wasn't just one wipe either, it's still going. Not as heavy but it's still there. I haven't really had major cramping, just twinges and pains here and there but nothing today really. It's weird because there wasn't a single sign of spotting or anything this morning until about 10:30 when it was just BAM. Of course i'm so upset and not even hoping at all that it's something else. I just don't want to get my hopes up.

I really hope your bean is okay. At about 5 weeks I had a huge gush of bright red blood and went to the ER positive I was having a miscarriage; on the u/s they were able to find a sac and my betas were increasing from the ones I had drawn the day before. I had frequent bleeding up until the middle of the 2nd tri. I shared this to let you know that there IS hope. Praying for you and please KUP!

((HUGS))! I'm praying for you and your bean!
I also had bleeding, I was 6wks 1 day when I first bled and it too came out of no where. It was bright red and several wipes worth. I went to ER and they checked my cervix, HCG levels and did an ultrasound and everything was fine. They don't know what caused the bleeding either. That bleed lasted several hours and then I didn't bleed again till 6wks 3 days. There is definitely hope for you and bean to be okay!

I know you don't want to hope for anything else but know that there IS hope! Your cervix is soooo sensitive right now that you could have snezed, broken a capillary and that's why you are bleeding. I'm praying that it isn't over for you!

Thinking of you and your bean. I know how scary this is! I also know what it's like to "know" it's over. Keep us updated and PM me if you need anything.

thank you so much you guys. It actually does make me feel better to know that some of you also experienced this kind of bleeding and went on to have healthy babies. I just got back from the hospital where they took my blood for betas. Because i'm RH- i have to go back tomorrow for the shot... but, i thought you didn't get the shot until halfway through your pregnancy (assuming everything is okay)... so i think i'll call back around 4 and clarify why i'm getting it before they even know anything. That way enough time may have passed that they have my betas results. I'm also going back on Wed to get more blood drawn.
I'm still bleeding, it's not bright red, but like a red brown mixture i guess? It's not a whole lot on my liner, but when i wipe it's all over the tp. I guess at this point i'm just trying to stay positive but not get my hopes ridiculously high you know?
thanks again for all the support.

I'll keep you in my prayers! I hope its just some unexplained bleeding. I'm Rh - as well. You're most likely getting the shot in case you are having a m/c. There's a chance the blood can cross during a m/c so its a precaution sort of thing. Did they give you a shot with your last m/c?
Happy Anniversary! I'm sorry its starting off so scary! I hope it gets better!

yes they did carla, I am just curious why they aren't waiting until wednesday when they will know for sure KWIM? Becuase i thought you don't get that shot until about halfway thru your pregnancy so I was just a little confused...

Jess, it's a good idea for them to do the Rh shot anytime there is bleeding in pregnancy, regardless of whether there's a m/c or not.. just in case there is blood mixing. Crossing my fingers everything is ok hon!
