for my friend Karen. She is a new mommy to a little girl, Abby as of 5/26. She was taken to the hospital for hemorrhaging last weekend, given 2 blood transfusions and was released. She started bleeding again 2 days later and was taken to Dallas and given another transfusions. She is apparently still receiving blood and is not doing well. This is her third baby (her first with her husband) and it is really scary for all of them. At this point they think she has blood vessel causing the bleed but they're not sure still. Last we heard they were thinking of doing a D&C to make sure that all tissue was removed and then if that didn't help or they didn't get more information, she'd be having a full hysterectomy at 29. She was not planning anymore children but i can't think of too many women who want a hysterectomy that young (or at all for that matter). So please keep her and her husband, abby and her two boys in your prayers. This woman's plate has been overflowing since Christmas and it would be amazing if she could just catch a break!
