And the baby is perfect! He/She is measuring in at 6w1d and I am 6w2d based on my due date. A week ago the baby was a day ahead and now it is a day behind, but I was told that is normal based on who does the U/S. I also had another beta and progesterone drawn, but I wont get those results till later. Also, she saw what looked like the reminants of another sac that didnt develop. It was either that or a clot of some sort which explains why I have had a little bleeding and will probably continue to have some until it is gone. So now that I know things are ok I need to choose a Dr and schedule my first "real" appointment. I will contuinue to have an U/S and lab every two weeks until my first prenatal exam. So I will get to see my LO lots! Oh yeah and I forgot to mention...my baby has a heartbeat too!! They didnt tell me how fast, but there is one!! YAY!!

Yay!! I'm so glad everything turned out okay! Congrats on seeing the hb! Hope the bleeding resolves quickly; I know how stressful it can be! Yay for getting more peeks at your LO too!

yay for a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!! a second sac with no remants of a baby is very common (alot more than people think). Most people don't even know they were carrying twins (if that was the case) because the average person gets their first ultrasound at 12 weeks and everyone has resolved itself by then.

So glad everything is going well!! I got tons of u/s with Bella and loved every one of them

Great news! Yay for a heartbeat and so glad you are going to get many more ultrasounds. It really helped ease my mind to have 2 early ultrasound to make sure things were progressing properly.

I agree that you should not worry about a day here or there on the measurements. I think I mentioned this before but at our first ultrasound we were measuring 3-4 days behind (at 6 weeks), the second one was measuring a day ahead (10 weeks) and my morst recent one has the baby measuring 5 days ahead (19 weeks). Ultrasound is not an exact science.

Woohoo! My dr told me you have a 95% chance making it to at least 20 weeks after hearing the heartbeat! The odds are in your favor!

Yah!!! That is sooooo great to hear! I have been out of town for the past week for my sisters wedding and just got on here and am so glad to hear that your baby is doing great!!!
