It's Lexi's first day of daycare and I'm a total mess! This is worse than my first day back at work! I shouldn't be too worried since my sister works there and is right across the hall from her, but I'm still freaking out! My sis will take her home when she gets off at 2 and keep her until we get off. I'm literally counting down the minutes until 2! I'm just worried because she's starting to realize her surroundings and gets super fussy in strange places. I'm so glad she only goes two days a week for a couple hours each day! I wouldn't make it if she were full time!

I totally know how you feel!! It's very hard but it does get easier, I promise. It's awesome that your sister is right there so she can check in on her and everything. Lexi is going to LOVE daycare when she's a bit older (say 6 months). Bella started then and after the first few weeks of adjustment to the environment, she is so happy to see her friends

seriously they do adjust fast. They learn to love their teachers and friends. Our infants at school are all so happy!! I'm sorry you're having a rough day but really two days a week for half a day isn't too bad at all! I know what you mean about not being able to do it full time!!

Hope she did well today. It's awesome that your sister can help keep an eye on things while she's there too.

I'm dreading it too...I'm sure Lexi will be well cared for. I think sometimes it is harder for us than it is for them.
