1. How long did it take for you to stop bleeding. My C Section was almost 18 days ago, and I still am bleeding...not tons, but enough that I have to wear something, or it will wreck my underware.
2. It seems my daughter likes most to sleep on her side. I have a sleep positioner so I don't think she can roll on to her tummy, but I'm just not sure if it is the safest position for her to be sleeping. She is sleeping on her side right now, but I'm going to try to move her on to her back when I go to bed. Last night, I fought with her for 3 hours trying to get her to sleep, and I think she finally just fell asleep because of exhaustion on her back, but that meant mom was up till 3 am, and then up again at 6. What do you guys think, did any of your kids sleep on their sides?

I bled for I think around 5ish weeks (c section too) it stopped for a couple of weeks, then I had a little more a couple of weeks later. Should be normal as long as theres no clots that are too big.
Bella used to roll on her side at the start too, but I think it was where her legs were still drawn up, she sort of rolled that way. The midwife said as long as she had done it herself and I hadnt put her that way and just to keep a careful eye. When she started stretching her arms and legs out, she pretty much slept on her back since then.

I had a vaginal delivery but bled for 8 weeks straight. No fun!
I sleep Jack on his side on purpose. When he was just about a week old, he spit up while sleeping on his back and could not breathe and was rushed to the hospital. My babies will never sleep on their backs. He too is in a positioner. I would think (in my opinion) that the risk of choking is far greater than the risk of SIDS, when laying on the back, since it's happened to many people I know, including myself when I was a baby. Just my 2 cents. Do what you feel is best

I had a vaginal birth and bled FOREVER....3 months non-stop and my Dr. said it was completely normal. It takes our bodies a while to get back to our "old selves." As far as side sleeping goes, Camden was the same way. He HATED sleeping on his back, so when he was about 1 1/2 months old we would put him on his side and he slept like a rock. Now, he ONLY will sleep on his belly and there's nothing we can do from keeping him from flipping. (He even rolls on his belly in a really deep sleep)

I stopped bleeding late last week...so 3 weeks and a few days. I was a vaginal delivery also.
I put Julie on her side. We've noticed she can fling her arm over and get on her ide from the back position.

I bled for about 6 weeks.
I think that she should be fine on her side. I think that you will worry much more than it will really bother or hurt for Rayanne to be on her side.

Josie also likes to sleep on her side. If she's nice and relaxed, I can put her on her back (but her face has to be turned to the side so I don't worry about her choking on her spit up), but when she's in a little ball (most of the time), she goes on her side on her own.

i hAD a vaginal delivery...and bled for 7 weeks or so (most was fairly light bleeding)...
Kaiden is on an incliner and positioner and at first was more comfortable a bit on his side, so i secured the positioner so he couldnt roll on his belly, and he slept on his side...the nurses at the hospital even put him on his sidfe...i think its fine if you can make it so she doesnt roll onto her stomach...
hang in there on the sleep thing...it does get easier soon

Thanks ladies. I put her on her side last night, and she slept much better. And so did I...still only about 6 or 7 hours of broken sleep, but a lot better than the night before. I am actually able to function today and get things done.
I can see it varies the amount of bleeding, I just wanted to make sure it was normal, and wasn't something gone weird with my C Section. I will continue to wait for it to stop. It isn't very much, but enough that I need to wear something, so I will just keep doing that. Sorry I have been so MIA...with my mom here for two weeks, it was hard to get on and not interact with my mom, but now that she is gone, I am trying to get on more. I am going to post more pictures soon.

I also had a c-section and I still have some brown cm, all I need at times is a panty liner.

I had a vaginal delivery and still have some yellowish CM... bled for about 4 weeks.
Nikolas also sleeps on his side... he hates sleeping on his back. When he's on his back, he gets really gassy and cant get it out. He farts away when he's on his side. (also have him in a sleep positioner). When he naps, his favourite place is on his tummy on Mommy's lap.

I bled for about 6 weeks or so. Every time I thought it had stopped for a few days, it would start up again.
Connor slept on his side some too. I asked my pedi and she said it was fine and just to keep him off his tummy.
