Looks like this month is gonna be a big weight gain month for me! WTH?!!

I guess I need to start watching better HOW MUCH i'm eating. I'm not too concerned with what i'm eating just that I feel like i'm eating non-stop, even when i don't really care if i do or not. So now, i start watching a little better. I mean, if i'm hungry, i'm hungry, but i can't use this baby as an excuse to snack on whatever whenever! Just have to try to keep it a little healthier.

Thanks for letting me get that out.

I know what you mean. I eat ALL DAY!!! But luckily at the doctor on Wednesday, I had only gained 4 lbs. That is not bad to be 6 months pregnant. Eat healthy and it will be ok.

I had lost weight in the begining, so at my last appointment my doctor said she wanted me to gain 5-6lbs before my next appointment (which is Thursday). So I took that upon myself to eat, eat and eat! Now I'm a little worried, so I may be with you Kate and have to start eating better.

I'm scared I'm going to gain a ton of weight during pregnancy. I gain weight pretty easily already. I'm trying to eat well so it's not too bad.

I pretty much eat constantly too. I do my best to have fruit handy 'cause it's filling and good for me.

Yeah, I think I ended up using pregnancy as an excuse to eat whatever I wanted...and gained 46lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, afterwards, I went to a trainer that completely changed my life forever! I have completely changed my entire outlook on food and vow to eat much healthier next pg!! So, take some advice and try and eat healthy! It will only make it that much harder to lose it after you have the baby. It's HARD HARD work to lose it afterwards!

There were times when I gained tons, and times when I gained nothing at all...everyone said you gained the most the last month of pregnancy, but I gained nothing in the last month. Try not to focus on how much you are gaining, but if you are eating and snacking healthy, then I'm sure you will be just fine, and be able to get the weight off afterwards.

I should mention too that I gained the majority of my weight mid pregnancy.

I feel like I am gaining tons right now - 8 lbs last month and probably something similar this month. But I had not gained anything before that and my doctor actually wanted me to start gaining. I can tell you that I am starting to understand when the baby is going through a growth spurt and am not limiting myself during those times. However, when I we are not going through a growth spurt (right now) I am definitely being a bit more selective.

I am trying not to worry too much about weight gain because I know I will be able to lose it again after the baby and as long as I am keeping myself and the baby healthy I am not ok with gaining weight.

So far I've been ok, but I'm afraid I'm going to start blowing up. I'm trying to keep swimming which is how I control my weight, but with the constant nausea I haven't felt up to it. Then I pulled a muscle in my shoulder! I'm a mess. I always eat a lot so if I can't exercise I'm in trouble...

I'm like Marci - I gained a lot in my second trimester and then it slowed down in the third. If you're hungry, you should eat. Just eat fruits and veggies instead of cheesecake

nah kate - eat the cheesecake - just don't eat the WHOLE cheesecake! I have found that if I am craving something it is better to just let myself have it rather than try and stop myself. Eventually I will give in and if I have deprived myself too long the "giving in" is much worse.

I say that now but who knows what I will be saying after my doctors appointment on Wednesday when I find out how much I have gained this month.
